In my dream the Raven landed on my upper back and wrapped its black wings around my face. Transformed thus, I became an initiate into arcane mysteries, guided through hidden ways, through doorways, to otherworldly places, my Great Work being to confer with Beings beyond. This path is liminal and ancient, cosmologically prior, temporally rooted in the heart of our Pagan past. Chosen by the Dark Goddess, to be psychopomp, oracle, seer, I bring my vision to mythopoetic creations, divination and healing arts.

Artist Statement
Angelique works in multiple creative mediums, and is inspired by organic forms in the wilds, as well as that which is feral by nature, mythical and mystical wisdom, the chthonic, the deep psyche, the primordial cosmos. Her art is a foray into the liminal, and an attempt to record the transformative potential encountered there. She considers her work philosophical investigation in material substance. She also plays with her quaint and quirky imagination. Hræfnwize is a side project / identity that began as a venue for a very particular chthonic aesthetic that she found emerging in her art.
